Our reunion planning committee has had some very productive zoom calls. Because we are so scattered, one of the challenges we had is how to collect money and rsvp’s so we can give the Checkerboard the correct count and payment that will be due. We made the decision to have a contact person for each branch of the family. He/she will be the person you can give/send your money to before the due date which is JULY 13. If you need the phone number or address of your contact person, you can message them on Facebook and they will give it to you.
As a reminder, our reunion is Saturday, July 30 from 1:00-7:00 at the Checkerboard Inn, 385 Carverton Rd., Trucksville.
Cost is $40 per person, Children 6-10 $20 per person, Children under 5 are free.
Fees will cover the cost of an all day basic clam bake menu, a keg of beer, gifts & prizes, a full size sheet cake, tablecloths and whatever miscellaneous expense comes up.

Checks should be made out to MARY CHRISTIANA as I’ve agreed to be “cashier”. Your contact will send checks to me and. I will make the appropriate deposit/payments.
I won’t have package information for a few days, but there’s plenty of time to make those decisions. They require a minimum of 100 people on a Saturday booking, but I don’t think we will have any problem meeting that number. I’m hopeful we will far exceed it! I think planning works best when we have each family branch represented and we can connect through zoom calls. Please let me know if you are willing to be one of those reps. I know it’s a long time away, but time goes quickly. It doesn’t have to be just 1 from each family, can be as many as want to join, but I’d like to have at least 1.In the meantime, stay safe and healthy! Can’t wait to see you again!
