Timothy Wright

Timothy Frances Wright

(as told by Pat Lou O’Konski)

Uncle Tim was a great man and I want to be the first to share some random memories of him.  He spent a lot of time at our house and I loved him.

He served in World War II.

He was a very gentle soul.

I always thought he was the brother that somehow got lost in the shuffle.

He never married and never had any children.

He worked in the coal mines.

A more generous man could not be found – on payday he would
line up all the kids and hand coins out to all.

He was Mickey’s Godfather and she took good care of him.  She was
there for him when he needed anything.  (Kudo’s, Mickey)

Uncle Tim and my son, Billy O, had a special friendship.  He spoiled
Billy to some degree.  He let ten year old Billy drive his car up and down
the driveway.  They spent a lot of  time together and Billy truly loved him.

I believe he was one of the kindest, most gentle member of this awesome family.

Note:  Thanks to Pat Lou for sharing.  Uncle Tim didn’t have children to tell his story,  so if you have memories of him, it would be great if you would share.
