Tom is the first child of Tom and June, born in Detroit in 1959. He was not the most fond of school, preferring to play or watch sports with his brothers. A notable achievement during his younger years was being crowned Red Head of the Month at his elementary school! Tom has been a Postal Worker since 1986. He is following in the footsteps of his father who served as a mail carrier himself for one winter in 1948, providing some much needed holiday help! Strangely enough, Tom Sr. kept stopping in the Tobin household for breaks – wonder why??Tom met Cindy Lowell in high school. It was a classic boy meets girl – nothing happens, they connected again a few years later and sparks flew! After Cindy finished nursing school the two were married. Cindy is still a nurse today, currently employed at Lytle Plastic Surgery in Dearborn, MI. Much like her family, she keeps the rest of the office in check! Cindy and Tom are slowly closing in on retirement and Cindy keeps Tom busy with a whole slew of home improvement projects. In his spare time, Tom is an avid golfer and sports lover. Tom and Cindy have a daughter, Erin. They were always involved in a large number of sports/activities as coaches and supporters. Erin graduated from the University of Michigan and is now living in Chicago, working as a consultant for Rightpoint, a technology/user experience company. She is a runner and is slowly crossing off marathons and cities to visit one at a time. Post corona, catch her in a city near you!
